Does LynkedUp Pro replace QuickBooks?
No. It manages job-level financials — budgets, committed cost, actual cost, invoicing, and commissions — and syncs to QuickBooks for the general ledger, payroll, and tax. The intent is that the books match the jobs without double entry.
Can I see profit per job before the job finishes?
Yes. The signed estimate sets the budget, purchase orders and sub invoices post as committed cost, and field time posts as labour, so margin is visible while the work is still running.
How are sales commissions calculated?
By margin, revenue, or tiered rules, with setter and closer splits, clawbacks, and rep-visible statements drawn from the same job numbers the owner sees.
Does it handle retainage and progress billing?
Yes. Progress, milestone, and final invoicing are supported, along with retainage tracking and draw schedules for builder and commercial work.
Is this construction accounting software?
It is construction financial management — job costing, billing, commissions, and profitability. The general ledger stays in QuickBooks, which is where most contractors' accountants want it.
